About Gardiner's list
The Gardiner's Sign List is a catalogue of Egyptian hieroglyphs edited in 1927 by Sir Alan Gardiner (Eltham, 1879 – Oxford, 1963), published inside his noted work Egyptian Grammar: Being an Introduction to the Study of Hieroglyphs.
It is considered a standard reference in the study of Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.
